After months of living on Koh Samui here is my list of all the places to see, work at, eat, wellness spots, adventure! It’s the ultimate guide!

Boxing - this is a well known boxing gym on the island for anyone. Again there’s so many on the island and this one was the closest to us but the staff is great and they truly know what they are doing.

O2k Fitness this was our main gym as we lived right next to it. It’s a great local feel and everyone is very friendly. Note: it’s not a fancy gym so if your looking for a more local gym then this is your place! 

Breathwork: Every Saturday we would go to breathwork with Andy at 

oh my gosh! Thai mama is the sweetest woman and the food is to die for and the most amazing prices. 

Also in Bophut is this amazing northern Thai resturant and they have the BEST Khao Soi. Again super sweet owners. 

Sastorn Coffee: if you watched my YouTube then you saw most of these but why not have the locations too. :) We worked at this cafe frequently. I would suggest grabbing a coffee and working here for a couple hours. As far as food, I think it’s a little expensive and small portions but the coffee is great and the environment is great! 

Amba: This is a brand new spot that opened up. It is a co working/ sauna/ cold plunge/ pool and restaurant. I am not sure the price as when it first opened it was free for the month but I believe it’s 300 baht for a day pass. They have organic healthy food and you can easily spend an entire day here. Only thing I would say is on the weekends or later in the day it tends to get loud with people hanging out at the pool but they do have a seperate indoor room and mornings seem to be quiet. 

The Road Less Traveled: over on the more west side of the island is this amazing restaurant. They make incredible choices of coffee, the food is good and though a little more pricey they give huge portions and the environment and place is beautiful to work at. Upstairs the have a yoga room and they offer improv classes as well. 

Lamphu Kitchen : One of our favorite spots to get coffee, relax at, and work at. We normally came here after our morning animal flow class in Lamai. The outside area is beautiful and feels like a zen garden but also the inside is great to sit and enjoy and workout as well. They also have hooks to read and I enjoyed reading there as well when my mind needed a break from electronics. 

K.O.B : this spot is highly recommended by many expats but to be honest it wasn’t my favorite. I encourage you to check it out for yourself as it is on the water and in a more popular expat/ touristic area. To me compared to the others I have listed here the coffee and food didn’t compare but still a beautiful spot. 

Copper: One of our favorite places to work for the vibe. It's beautiful inside and the coffee is good. We only ate here once but the food was good as well.

Top Coffee Shops and Cafes for Nomads - Koh Samui (we lived here for 3 months)

Lookka: we went here very often and it was always good and such good prices too. 

The BEST: you probably saw this on my YouTube but the owners are the best! They even adopted our plant when we left Koh Samui. They were the sweetest and the place I’d so my vibe. Full of plants, they have games and cards to play and it’s beautiful inside. 

Rada: probably 2nd favorite. It’s only open on the weekends though this could have changed but it’s amazing and such a cool drive! It might be out of the way from where your located but it’s SO worth it! 

Best food we had on the island: get the slow cooked beef with garlic and pepper and it will melt in your mouth. The cashew chicken is amazing! They have two locations one near Bophut and one in Lamai. Both are great! 

We love this spot for the beautiful view, the best shakes, and spring rolls. They have chickens, 5 cats, a dog and they are so sweet. 

If your in Bophut this the spot for good chicken and sides and it’s good portions. 

The Fish- actually never went inside the place but we ordered from Food Panda and it was really good tacos and burrito. It had a different taste to it that made it really stand out. 

Lay Lagom: this peaceful spot right on the beach is perfect because it’s not a fancy beach resturant and has a laid back chill eclectic vibe. The owner and workers are incredibly sweet and helpful. The food is really good too and you can sit inside or right by the water outside.
