Is Switzerland really worth it?
As you must have heard, Switzerland is one of the most expensive places you will ever visit. So is it really worth it? Let's find out😉
My personal opinion is YES. It's said that you should visit Switzerland atleast once in your lifetime. But why? It's because the mountains and clear water hit different there🥰. Let me spill the beans about a few most frequently asked question on internet so that you won't have to read million blogs like I had to do.
1. Should you buy a full-day Swiss pass or not?
The whole internet will recommend you to buy it. BUT look at your itinerary and then decide because swiss pass is v expensive. If your itinerary has a lot of cable rides, boat and train rides involved, then only buy it. Swiss Pass will give you free access to all museums , trains & boats. Cable car rides will also be available at 50 percent off for most of the rides. Reason we didn't buy this was the travel consulate ( available at Zurich railway station) read our itinerary and computed the cost. They suggested that we are better off without a pass. Reason: We were not going to Jungfrau and for any boat rides. You can make a decision after reaching Swiss by getting your free consultation at Swiss pass office at Zurich railway station.
