Wichita Falls Spots

My childhood home on Saturday mornings - have to get a Marty’s special named by yours truly ;) a McBride family place

Don’t drive away when you pull up - total hole in the wall but great food! The waitresses have worked there for 49 years so just ask them what to get

Closer to the nicer part of town, but not local. Just come here for convenience and location!

North side of town toward Oklahoma, so a bit of a drive from the main part of town. But, it always hits

Great spot in downtown for good coffee, cute vintage vibes, and good food. This is a true Wichita Falls spot if you want to see some locals

Breakfast burritos are out of the world - if you can’t order in Spanish you better learn. Also close to middle of town so stop by!

Best sandwich in Wichita Falls by far and everything is homemade - in downtown, so take a trip down there! Check the hours before you go, they close at weird times.

Good ol burgers and bar food - only come here if you’re ready for some GREASE! But nice, west side of town, and good beer selection

Old school local place with great BBQ - take your grandpa here who likes old fashioned western vibes

The local watering hole - EVERYONE will be here so be prepared to be social. I come here every time i come home, it’s the place to go get some beers and bar food!

Attached to the mall but still good - dinner options are limited in this town, so this is prob the only place to get a good pizza, burger, and cocktails

Favorite restaurant of all time - habachi is out of this world, or just run in for a $2 fried rice. If you don’t want to smell like smoke, sit in the sushi bar, the sushi is CHEAP or you can order habachi too

Pretty sure my grandparents went on a date here in the 50s - old school burgers in the middle of town. A true local spot (RIP Gene’s tasty burger)

Calling all aunts and grandmothers!!! Come here for a great chicken salad sandwich, salad, or awesome cookie. Mom used to take us to get treats here all the time as kids :)

#1 steak in town, even though I’m biased. The local place to go if you want the true Wichita Falls experience. Built with love by my awesome grandfather

Way out by the Air Force base, but best Italian food in town if you want to drive!! BYOB so bring your wine!!!!

Expensive farm to table place - only been once and it was okay. If you want this fancy, just go to Dallas

Relatively new and nice atmosphere, but only place in town for ramen. Heard good things from friends who live in town.

The ONLY place we went as kids! Best donuts, on the west side of town on the way to memorial stadium

Off the beaten path in downtown. Super small place but cute and good if you don’t want to run into anyone

Mom’s BFF owns this place! Great clothes for all ages, swings younger women and also swings a little country chic. I always find something i like when i go in

Where the who’s who shop! Expensive clothes for the older woman, also great wedding gifts and little gifty thingies

Best home store in town - pop in when you need a nice gift for someone! Be prepared to talk to Lori for while but you’ll always feel special :)

Frat boy central - go here for all the Patagonia, southern tide, or Greek life gifts you can dream of. Amazing baby gifts as well for a shower!

True vintage place in Wichita Falls. It’s only been around for 100 years or so. Kinda creepy, but fun

Don’t come here if you’re over 30 - the go-to college bar right by MSU compete with all the post-high school deals. Do come here if you want to run into your ex or people you didn’t like in high school

Cute little one-mile trail, it connects to my street so this place feels like home. I run almost every day here <3 or take your kids to feed the ducks

This place has my heart!!! Go see a show and support some local talent - this place made me who i am today!

Another little theater down the road - shows are more *adult* and smaller. Lots of local talent in this town, so go check it out!

So many field trips and summer camps here - they have a HUGE butterfly house and lots of nature trails! Also have a great light show wt Christmas :)

Free parking !!! But really, this is the “falls” of Wichita Falls. I hope it’s turned on when you go - there’s a 50/50 chance it’s not

Basketball games are actually so fun!!! Worth checking one out if you don’t have anything else to do
