About

I was born and raised in Milan so I consider myself an expert of this city. Especially during the summertime, there are so many places to have a glass of wine or an Aperol spritz in a cute location. I want this to be an inspirational guide where you can find your special place.

Let's dive in

e/n enoteca naturale
@chiaraghigliotti
This has to be my favourite bar to have an aperitivo in. It has a massive garden outside where you can sip your wine in total relaxation without the noise of the traffic. In fact, even though this place is in the city centre is basically an oasis of peace. You can either have a quick aperitivo or choose to have dinner, they have appetizers and dishes, so the choice is up to you! Speciality: natural wines, obvs.

Bar Frida
@chiaraghigliotti
Another really great bar in the centre of Milan. Frida is a bar in the Isola district, this area has been changing for years and now is becoming the new area where everyone goes to have a drink or dinner. I like this bar in particular for multiple reasons: the location (a bit hipster but lovely), the food and especially the drinks! Note: you can't book so be aware that you'll have to queue.

Cascina Cuccagna
@chiaraghigliotti
Cascina Cuccagna (or Un posto a Milano) is really famous in Milan for being a versatile choice for everyone! I came here when I want to have a nice brunch or aperitivo, the place is open from morning to very late at night so you can have any meal you want here. The place is big and spacious inside and outside. Tips: better reserve a table during the weekend and/or if you're a big group.

Vino
@chiaraghigliotti
This is probably the less cute in terms of aesthetics but I really liked the atmosphere around. The owner is so friendly and ready to help you out with the wines. The place is little with very few sits, during summertime they have a couple of tables outside as well. They are a "Tuscany style" bar, so expect a lot of bread and delicious prosciutto/mortadella/salame! As well as the oil they serve, AMAZING! Tip: better to reserve a table

Stadera Milano - Gastronomia Contemporanea
@chiaraghigliotti
This is a bit luxurious compared to the others listed, but I tried this bar and LOVED IT. You can either have a quick aperitivo or decide to have a complete dinner here. What I really like about this place is that the dishes they served are so curated to the minimum detailed. If you want to have something more sophisticated this is the place for you. A little more expensive but nothing crazy, and most of all, so worth it! Tips: book a table cause the place is little. During summer they have a couple of tables outside. Cons: You are on a busy street in the centre.

Bob Milano
@chiaraghigliotti
This bar is a fusion for cocktail and asian cuisine, when you want to have something exotic and not the typical Italian Aperitivo. Cocktail selection is particular. the execution is perfect and above the average. The foruma for a small plate and a coctail is 10€, totally affodable!
