  - Visit Sugar Sand Park. (Free) Enjoy the playgrounds, picnic areas, and walking trails. Don't miss the Science Playground and the Carousel.

  - Grab dinner at Baja Cafe in Deerfield beach  for affordable and delicious Mexican cuisine. Locals Favorite Mexican restaurant. 

  - Start your day visit the sea turtles at Gumbo Limbo Nature Center. (Free) Explore the coastal hammock, walk the boardwalks, and learn about marine life in the sea tanks. 

  - Spend a relaxing morning at Red Reef Park and Beach. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing on the beautiful beach.

  - Visit the nearby Deerfield Beach and have a delicious seafood lunch at Muddy Waters. They are known for their fresh seafood and waterfront dining.

‌  -Pack a lunch Head to Daggerwing Nature Center. (Free) Experience interactive exhibits, nature trails, and wildlife viewing platform.

-Have lunch at Whales Rib, a local favorite off the beach in Deerfield Beach known for their tasty fish sandwiches. After lunch walk the Deerfield Pier (directly outside of Whales Rib to the left ) and visit the shops for souvenirs. 

The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is a beautiful walk through garden and museum teeming with wildlife to include giant herons and other reptiles such as alligators. Quiet Waters Park- Deerfield Beach, FL Amenities at this large park range from the unique Rent-a-Tent/Tepee Campground to Ski Rixen USA cable water-skiing to seven miles of mountain bike trails, along with Splash Adventure water park and Woofing Waters Dog Park & Marina, both of which are open seasonally. Cost is $1.50 per person children 5 and under are free. Note: The Water Park Area has a seperate fee for use : All-day admission (10 a.m.-5:20 p.m.) - $6/person; after 3 p.m. - $4.40/person. I recommend going after 3pm when the strongest sun has subsided.
