Transportation
This is a road trip so you will need to rent a car. But you will also be driving onto ferries to get from island to island! The Washington State Ferries is the largest system of its kind in the US!
Here is where you can find the ferry schedule. If you are traveling during the weekend I recommend you make a reservation.
Tips on using the ferry system….You need to be through the toll booth at least 30 minutes before the ferry departure time, which means you should show up 45-60 minutes early. Yes, even if you have a reservation
