Buenos Aires won me over a long time ago, so much so that I’ve lived here twice already. The city’s unique charm, with its vibrant culture, stunning architecture, and energy, will quickly win you over too. You’ve probably heard about the tango and amazing food, but there’s so much more to explore. Buenos Aires is also becoming a top spot for digital nomads, offering a vibrant yet affordable city to work from.
In this guide, I’ve selected my favorite areas to stay and some tips on why I recommend them. I hope you enjoy discovering the city as much as I do!
This guide is still a work in progress, and I’ll be adding more options soon. Feel free to check out what I’ve already put together!
This is probably one of Buenos Aires' most exciting neighborhoods, and it’s definitely at the top of my list of recommendations!

Recoleta
Belgrano
Belgrano is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, offering a great mix of history, culture, and modern living. The streets are calm, the neighborhood has a charming, classic feel, and you can find plenty of nice cafes, restaurants, and shops along Cabildo Avenue. It’s also home to the lively Barrio Chino (Chinatown), which adds an extra cultural touch. While it’s not the most touristy area, it’s very popular among locals, so if you want to stay in a quieter part of the city but still be close to areas like Palermo and Recoleta, Belgrano is a fantastic option, especially if it’s not your first time in Buenos Aires.
Situated near Barrio Chino, this spacious apartment can accommodate up to 4 people, ideal for couples or small groups. It’s fully equipped with everything you need, including a washing machine, making it an excellent choice for a convenient and comfortable stay.

The building offers access to a sun terrace, a jacuzzi, pool, gym, and common laundry facilities, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. Ideal for digital nomads or couples.
Hi! I'm Aline, a solo female traveler and digital nomad. Over 10 years ago, I packed my bags and left my hometown in Brazil to explore our incredible world, and I haven’t looked back since.
I travel solo and I travel light :) I don’t have a fixed home—home is wherever I am. I’m always on the lookout for new places and cute cafes to work from (especially if they are vegan!). I thrive on adventure and love straying off the beaten path. The best part? The unexpected, wonderful encounters with people and places that make every trip unforgettable.
I’m not an agency or a guide. Along the way, I’ve become quite the expert in trip planning, and that’s part of what I do nowadays. I’m here to share a bit of my experience and hopefully help you plan your own adventures. Maybe one of my guides will inspire your next trip or help you skip the hassle of planning and dive straight into exploring. Check them out, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
