Osh Bazaar is an intense cultural experience that is necessary for any visit to Kyrgyzstan. Take a local with you to get the full experience as many of the vendors only speak Kyrgyz, but you can get along fine with some Russian.

A note on weekend and day trips
There are many companies which provide transportation and organize events to the following destinations, but you're best off using a local company as they are much cheaper and more authentic. My two favourite companies are kettik (on Instagram @ ) and kzadventures (on Instagram @ )
Ala Archa National Park

This is a large national park where Kyrgyzstan's national water company bottles its product. It can be reached by taxi or marshrutka bus from Bishkek.
There are a variety of trails, each at different difficulties and lengths.
