Probably the most Ritzy hotel on this list. Very central with all the amenities. It even has a pool.

Places to Visit

Palace of Parliament

One of the largest administration buildings in the world. It was originally built during the Communist era. It is extravagant on the inside and out. You may remember a famous Michael Jackson quote from here.

Union Park

This park has some of the coolest water fountains in the city. It also has a pretty good shopping mall and is the start to one of the coolest views of the People's Palace.

Bucharest National Opera House

One of the coolest buildings in the city. The opera house is beautiful on the inside and outside. Maybe you will be able to see a performance here as well!

The Triumphal Arch

A slightly smaller version of the French Arch. You can go walk around the area. The whole area is incredible with beautiful trees lining the street.

King Mihai I Park (Herăstrău) CA

Super amazing park. In the mornings you can see many people running here. You can also see a beautiful lake which you can ride a swan boat on or go visit the old cultural buildings of Romania. There is also a Michael Jackson Memorial here.

Absolutely stunning natural waters. It honestly makes you feel like you are in Spain while you are there. Highly recommended by every Romanian.

Caru' cu bere

Incredible traditional romania food. The Ciorba de Burta and Papanasi are to die for.

Kind of expensive for a kebap but it is one of the most well known places in the city.

KFC Unirea

If you haven't tried KFC in Romania you need to try it. You don't have to go to this specific location but KFC is a must in Romania. The Smart meniu with spicy crispy strips and Ustoroi sauce are my favorite.

Transit

If you are looking to travel around Bucharest it is very easy and usually fairly inexpensive. There are tons of taxi's around the town, an incredible metro system, so many buses and tramvai that can get you where you want. If you are looking to leave Bucharest, whether for a day or
