Koushirama Surfing Beach

Only a public bus ride from Ugata Station is the Koushirahama Surfing Beach with clear blue water. On the way to the beach are lively campgrounds packed with camper vans and BBQs.Over the dyke you get an incredible view of the hidden bay. Chase the waves with surfboards or stand-up paddle boards. FYI Weekends and the golden week can get pretty packed so plan wisely.Japanese surfers usually come over the weekend and store their boards in shops where you can also rent surfboards and gear. You will find plenty of surf shops and schools around.
