about Shinkansen:

⭐️ Nozomi is the fastest between Tokyo and Osaka (about 2 hr 30 min)

⭐️ Hikari is second the fastest between Tokyo and Osaka (about 3 hr)

⭐️ Between Hiroshima and Osaka, there's 4 types of Shinkansens: Nozomi takes 1hr 20 min, Mizuho 1hr 25 min, Sakura 1hr 30min, Kodama 2hr 50min

⭐️ if using JR Pass from Hiroshima to Tokyo, you could consider upgrading to Nozomi for a faster ride (3 hr 50 min), rather than 5hr 20min (JR Pass does not include Nozomi)

⭐️ from Kyoto to Amanohashidate is about 2 hr 14 min; and from Amanohashidate to Ine is additional 60 min by bus
