Mumbai: Best Restaurants & Bars (Luxury, Vibe, Aesthetics and Cuisine)

I've been visiting this restaurant since I was 3 years old and decades have past, however the food has not changed. Located in the Taj Vivanta Hotel this is the best Italian restaurant in Mumbai. The pizza is nothing like I've eaten in the whole world even in Italy. My favourite is the Capriciosa, however don't miss out on the spinach ravioli, John Dory fish in Lemon Butter Sauce and the Norwegian Salmon too along with the Lobster Bisque. In desert the mud cake with bitter chocolate ice cream is the best desert ever. They've got a lovely curation of wines too. Ps: You don't need a reservation. Its first come first serve however weekends are super busy. This is an all night restaurant and will serve you amazing food at 4 am too.

Americano is a beautiful restaurant in South Mumbai in Kalaghoda. The food is divine and so are the cocktails. I love the truffle mushroom pizza and the truffle Capelli. The corn appetiser and the burrata salad along with the garlic bread melt in your mouth. You need to make a reservation at least 3-4 days prior to your visit at Americano. Its a small place and Chef Alex is very particular, it's always crowded. Its got a very pub/bar kind of vibe and the music is super lounge.

This is an international chain from Amsterdam located at the Soho House Mumbai and is open to all. It also requires reservation and they stop serving food after 11 pm. The best part about this restaurant is that despite the amazing food, it has the view of Juhu Beach is extremely comforting. The tiramisu is to die for and the truffle mushroom pizza, pesto linguini and burrata ham pizza are amazing. On special requests they also bring you a Bellini cart and make some great cocktails with that. I also enjoy sitting here and sipping on some coffee. Its a little expensive and with alcohol its quite a pricey restaurant. The most expensive meal I had hear with wine amongst 3 people was about 300$ which was wholesome. In a conservative way you will end spending at least 80-120$ here.

Cin Cin is one of my all time favourite places in mumbai. Its a high end restaurant located next to yautcha and nara thai and boasts a great outdoor as well as indoor seating. The truffle mushroom pizza and the baked brie with truffle and honey are highlights at cin cin. They make a mean aperol spiritz too and naturally the tiramisu is divine

Gustoso has 2 outlets in Mumbai one in Breach Candy and the other in Bandra West. Both are equally good. Nothing beats their tiramisu. Their food is quite close to authentic Italian and the mushroom risotto is splendid. At the Breach Candy outlet on the inside they have a smaller dinning Room that has a lovely candlelight ambience and can be a great date spot.

This is a newly opened restaurant in the suburbs. I won't say they serve the most authentic Italian food, however their food is great and the cocktails are the best. You need a reservation for this place for both lunch and dinner especially on the weekends. On Sunday afternoon they have a live singer playing some vintage English classics and is a lot of fun.

Sitting right on marine drive in Churchgate this is one of the most iconic locations in Mumbai. While they serve a wholesome and extremely affordable continental breakfast for under 5$, the Italian cuisine is what its known for. This place is forever booked because of its lovely location. I frequent it for the Bombay Masala and Talk of the Town Pizza which are must haves.
