Ermita, Cartagena, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

We really liked this hotel. Were Marriott people though🤷🏽♀️ it is outside of the walled city. If anything we would have liked to be a tab bit closer. But it is still 15/20 min walk from most things inside the wall. Taxis and Ubers are very cheap there as well. $3-$6. The hotel had a very nice lobby, bar, small pool with day beds, rooftop bar, restaurant, shuttle to and from the airport, and shuttle into town. The WiFi was strong and everything was very clean. Easy ordering system with the Marriott bonvoy app to order things to your room from room service, to extra towels and soap.

-Getsemani area- if we didn’t stay at the Marriott we would have stayed at a smaller boutique hotel in the getsemani area. Just for the extra convenience and walkability.
