After planning for a trip in March to Croatia in 2023, as I began to do my research I quickly realized there was not a ton of information on what it's like to go to Croatia during off season! So here is a comprehensive guide of what we did, and some helpful pointers along the way!

Just a couple notes:

- Some things are just straight up closed for the season, which for us, was absolutely fine. There were still PLENTY of restaurants open, as well as different tours operating, but just not all of them. So you will definitely still have lots of choice, but just not all of the options you normally would in the summer months.

- If you hate crowds, then oh boy, is this the trip for you! We felt so lucky to be able to experience cities that are normally jam packed with tourists in the summer, virtually crowd free! It made for incredible photos that I would never have been able to get unless I woke up at the crack of dawn!

-The weather was also very pleasant! Depending on the month you are going, definitely check the weather and plan accordingly. But we were very surprised that by the time we got to Dubrovnik, we were wearing t-shirts during the day!

I have loved photography since as long as I can remember, and have done everything within my power to make it my full-time gig. Do what you love and you never work a day in your life, am I right? I found my passion for travel after going on family trips and travelling for work. After travelling solo to Thailand, I realized that travel is what brings out the best in me. I love planning trips, trying new things, talking to locals, and finding unique experiences in whatever country I'm visiting. With a focus on sustainability and responsible travel, I hope to to showcase the beauty of the world using both of my avocations in life - travel and photography.
