In Piazza Casa Professa stands the monumental façade of the Chiesa del Gesù, also known as Casa Professa, considered one of the finest examples of Sicilian Baroque. Consecrated in 1636, this church served as a place of worship until 1937. After a period of closure due to reconstruction works on its vault and dome, completed in 1956, it reopened to the public in the same year.

The Fontana Pretoria, located in Palermo, is a stunning Renaissance fountain adorned with intricate sculptures. Constructed in the 16th century by Francesco Camilliani, it was originally intended for a Florentine villa but was later purchased by the city of Palermo. The fountain's design is characterized by its tiered basin and numerous mythological figures, including nymphs, tritons, and gods.

The Teatro Massimo in Palermo is the largest opera house in Italy and one of the largest in Europe. Designed by Italian architect Giovan Battista Filippo Basile, it was completed in 1897 and is renowned for its grand neoclassical style. The theater is located in the heart of Palermo and has a seating capacity of over 1,300 people.
