You might already know this place as "Ole & Steen" outside of Denmark. They do the most delicious bakery, but it is a bit more pricey. If you go in I can recommend that you try a Flødebolle (Cream puff/Marshmellow puff) or their sandwiches. But they are quite big so you either need to be really hungry or share it ;)

Places to go out

Orlas Poolbar
@karolinekh
Really cool new place where people in all ages (almost) comes to play pool or have a drink. The only age restriction is for buying alcohol. If you want to play pool during the weekend evening then you might have to book a table first - just to make sure because it can get busy

Lucky's Sports-bar
@karolinekh
This bar has personally been one of my favorites. It might not be the shit if you are only one or two on a chill night, but when it is a bit busier it has such a good atmosphere and a chill vibe. People come in to have a beer or get drunk before switching to floor on another bar. Come into play pool, dices or card games with your friends or meet some new ones.

Maximum Vejle
@karolinekh
Now hear me out. If you feel like warming up to go clubbing all night and none of your friends are volunteering to throw something at their place, then I might have a soution. Powerbowling. This is where you can drink and bowl. I mean, they literally give you free shots if you hit the right cone! Just saying that it might be more fun than expected.

Zwei Grosse Bier Bar Vejle A/S
@karolinekh
This is for people who are older than 21 and do not want to go into a club. This is a more cozy yet still fun if you want to show off your skills on floor. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Danish, spontaneous, adventurous and down to earth. Hi ya! I have been traveling as much as I could since 2020 - Yep I started traveling the most during COVID. But you know what? It actually wasn't that bad. I got to live in England and France during COVID so even though it wasn't the best time to travel I decided to make lemonade ;) Since then I have done a few backpacking travels and I am currently in New Zealand. I love exploring new countries and learn about their culture. Besides that I am a sucker for sunsets and adrenalin filled experiences! I mostly travel like a fancy budgetter🥴 I don't have a lot of money to spend on fancy hotels, dinner outs or massages alle the time, BUT I think it is important to treat yourself and buy that fancy hotel if that's what you need and can afford. I have been using the most disgusting toilets, slept with cockroaches in a floating house, endured the worst thunder and lightning in a night bus and having the worst hangovers before going on a hike. All of this is surrealistic to look back on, but in that moment it just was like that. You can't really prepare to go take a shit in a hole almost standing up. It just happens if you really have to. - Sorry for the nasty images in your head. I'm just trying to say that traveling is to me so much more than just going to a beach with the clearest blue water or watching the sunset with a cocktail in your hand. I have personally evolved and exceeded limits I never thought I would have to all thanks to being able to travel to other countries. Even though I might've scared you a bit, I promise, it's all worth it. I'm here to help you through the good and the not as good parts of traveling to other countries, but first, I need to ensure that you're prepared, confident, courageous, enthusiastic, and ready to go get the world.
