A taste of Cyclades Islands

- Choose how you want to arrive in Paros (plane or ferry): in both cases, I highly suggest renting a scooter/quad/car to freely explore the island. The public transportation network is well organized, but if you don't stay many days in Paros (as for this itinerary) it's better to be independent from it.

- Depending on your arrival, you may have time for a beach stop before your afternoon. There're many nice spots close to Paroikia.

- Right after lunch you're heading towards the West side of Paros. Bring with you a cloth change for the evening because you're not coming back to your hotel until after dinner.

- Kalogeros Beach is a hidden beach in Paros that’s well-known for its unique therapeutic clay. Cover your body with clay, sunbathe for 30 minutes (or more if you like) while the clay dries, and then rinse all the mud off in the water.

- Leave the beach early (16pm) in order to explore some other small gems of Paros.

- Leave your car at the entrance and walk along their narrow streets. One of the most characteristic images of Paros is the four windmills in the main square of Marpissa.

- In Marpissa there's the monastery of Agios Antonios. The monastery is situated on Kefalos Hil, from where you have a view of the sea and the surrounding islands. You can go there directly from the village or with your vehicle. The best way to enjoy the view is at sunset (you can leave Marpissa at the end of your day and start exploring from another village - they're all very close).

- It's time to go to Prodromos and explore its narrow streets and relax in the cafés. You can park here: 37.051546955533816, 25.237412349309185.

- It's almost time for dinner, so let's move to Lefkes, the village where we're going to find a good place to eat.

- Get ready to some ups and downs, because it's located on the hill.

- Now it's time to have a real Greek dinner on an amazing terrace. You're going to feel like you're in the real house of a Greek Nana (don't forget to have a look inside where's the kitchen). There's no menu because they serve whatever they make that day. Everything tastes simply delicious! Don't give up if you have to queue.

- After a gret dinner, let's go back to Paroikia.

- If you still have some energies, you can explore the citycenter or have a nice cocktail in a mill (or go back to your hotel).

- After a good breakfast, it's time to take the boat for a full-day cruise in Antiparos and Despotiko, with included lunch.

- The cruise ends around h 16.30, so you can make another beach stop before coming back to the hotel.

- You can go to Monastiri beach, where you can grab something at the bar and then just chill in the public beach. The water is beautiful, and there's a famous spot with the blue roof of the Monastery of St. John's of Deti.

- Back to the hotel then for a quick change before dinner.

- Head to the second big town of Paros: Naoussa.

- Save some space for dessert. You need to try the typical sweets of Naoussa: Loukoumades.

- End your night by trying ouzo: an anise-flavored liquor produced from grape must.
