Joshua Tree (but make it dog-friendly ð¶)
Always make sure the weather is appropriate for your dog before taking them on long hikes, and always remember to pack water!
Where to stay
We've brought our dog here, and it was incredible. There is a large, fully fenced yard where he was able to run around. The place itself was perfect for our small family.
What to do with your pet during your desert hikes?
The truth is, your pup may not be able to enjoy all the hikes you want to go on. There are certain safety concerns when bringing your dog to the desert and the ecosystem can be negatively impacted by having them there. As you enter the park, there is a wonderful doggy-daycare. We brought our Milo there, and he had a blast.

Dog-friendly Hiking
You're able to drive through the desert with your furry friend, but there are a couple locations where you can take a leashed walk together.
