A challenging distance, elevation gain, multiple alpine lakes, skinny dipping opportunities, wildlife, wildflowers, beautiful views and some awesome camping. Then the bonus of amazing star gazing at night!

This amazing alpine lake can be difficult to find. There are multiple accounts and books out there trying to help you get to Goat Lake. Check out our link to actually get you there. This isnt the easiest of hike. There is rock scrambling and elevation, so make sure you are up for it. It is definitely worth every step!

This hike is our favorite in the area! It has it all. A challenging hike, beautiful views, river crossings, meadows and the best alpine lake, Alice. There is also some amazing camping spots around the lake and the El Capitan of Idaho watches over the lake.
