Great place to pop in with your laptop for homework, work, casual coffee/breakfast date or to read a good book. Indoor and outdoor seating and dog friendly. Infusion has a fun coffee menu with things like “the bees knees” which is an espresso tonic (if you’ve never tried one, you must! So refreshing). They also have pastries and breakfast sandwiches on your choice of bread but I highly suggest the brioche, so good.

Best drive through breakfast! They have sandwiches, bowls, burritos, smoothies, coffee, baked goods, and more. My wife and I will usually stop here before our road trips to San Diego to fuel up for the ride.

SUSHI!!! Zu, as we call it, was our go-to date night spot when we lived in our apartment in Tempe. Open only for dinner, 4-11pm, they have happy hour from 4-7pm and then from 9-11pm, what a deal! Sushi, hot pots, plates, they have it all. Service is fast and the sushi is fresh and so yummy. Faves are the Ebi Mayo roll, garlic spicy tuna roll. And the volcano roll. Can’t forget the spicy garlic edemame and many side of spicy Mayo and eel sauce!

Oh Casey’s. I’ve consumed far too many tequila sodas and Irish car bombs here…I don’t want to talk about it. This dive bar serves up oysters (yes, don’t be scared, they are great!) and some pretty insane clam chowder. It’s the kind of place where most of the people there are regulars and the server knows your name. Cigarettes are being smoked and way too many drinks are being had. It’s our go-to place to catch up with friends and grab food and drinks.

If my middle name wasn’t Anne, it would be Karaoke. Uber dive bar with bar food and no frills drinks, but the karaoke on Wednesday is where it’s at! Depending on the night you and your friends might be the only people there.. but other nights the is a long list for singers. Either way, it’s a blast. The stage is huge and it’s so much fun. Pool tables and high tops to hang at while you watch you friends make fools of themselves singing!

I know it’s a chain, but their breakfast is just soooo good. It’s a fun place to go after a hike up “A mountain” or just a boozy brunch! Pancakes are a must.

$20 bruschetta board and bottle of wine on mondays! Postino has what I would call, elevated bar food. They have sandwiches, soups, and salads for lunch but it doesn’t quite feel like a full meal if you go for dinner. They have awesome meatballs and all the bruschetta options are so good. I easily get wine drunk every time I go here. There is also another location in Gilbert! This is right next to snooze as well.

College vibes for sure but great place to get take-out wings or pizza or grab a pitcher of beer and hang out! They have fun combinations for their toppings and the pizzas are huge!
