The Hat Madrid is the first Boutique Hostel in town. Located in a mansion right in the heart of the city and only a 3 minutes walk from the Puerta del Sol, Gran Via and La Latina. The Hat offers private and shared rooms, for women, families and groups of friends. All rooms have magnificent natural light, private or shared bathrooms, air conditioning and great WIFI. A great breakfast is on offer for a small price. The hostel boasts an outdoor terrace, solarium and spacious common areas.

This modest, artsy hostel is a 2-minute walk from Tirso de Molina subway station. It’s also a 7-minute walk from the restaurants lining Plaza Mayor, and a 13-minute walk from Gran Vía, a famed street with early-1900s architecture. Simple mixed-gender and female-only dorms with murals offer free Wi-Fi, and bunk beds with privacy screens and reading lights. They also have lockers and shared bathrooms. Private rooms add en suite, shower-only bathrooms. A spa features a sauna. There’s a communal kitchen with a functional dining room, and a laid-back TV lounge. A rooftop bar offers city views.
