Provence, France

Welcome to La Provence, a captivating region in southern France known for its rich history, picturesque landscapes, and exquisite cuisine.

It is also well-known for its beautiful lavender fields, especially during the months of June to August. However, this area is worth visiting even outside the lavender season.

This comprehensive guide will help you make the most of your trip, highlighting key destinations, activities, and dining options. We did it in 6 days but you can make your stay as shorter or longer as you wish: La Provence is always there to be explored.

I promise and unforgettable experience!

General Considerations

📅When was I there? April 2023

☀️Weather: any time is good for exploring La Provence. While summer is more crowded, it is true that from June to August is the best time to see the lavender fields. Otherwise, I would chose March to June and September to October and enjoy a quieter-La Provence with mild weather. November to February the weather is cooler and it might be less pleasant to explore the area.
