Where to Stay in Philadelphia

Where to Stay in Philadelphia

Some of most premium, modern, comfortable, and brightest hotels in Philadelphia, detailed here. I loved being able to experience two of these in 1 weekend, and can't wait to get back to Philly to stay at the other beautiful properties!

The Maj Hotel
@LAinFlight
Clean, modern, bright. excellent location, and most importantly wonderful customer service - the staff was helping me to find & book a reso @ some of the best Italian food in the city. The lobby has tons of space to sit, relax, work, and socialize. There are games and books you can use while staying at the hotel, and even candy for the taking. There is a self-service market in the lobby that has tons of random items if you need them, including plenty of snacks and drinks. In the morning, there's complimentary coffee up front. Love how tech-forward & modern the rooms are: from the lighting to the curtains to the digital door key. The gym in the basement is one of the cleanest and sleekest I've ever seen. Proximity near the museums and parks in a quaint neighborhood makes for great strolls! I would recommend The Maj Hotel and absolutely stay there again when in Philly next. Motto by Hilton Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square
@LAinFlight
Loved my stay here for 2 nights as a solo female traveler (Sat - Mon), on floor 2. Would absolutely stay here again! They also let me check in very early, simply because I asked 🙏🏾 Pros: Love that it’s a like a pod hotel, the perfect amount of space & amenities in the room for just me. Service was top notch. Coffee shop downstairs serves ReAnimator, a local Philly favorite. The restaurant downstairs, Condesa, is open until midnight some nights & the fish tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had (and I’m from Southern California). El Techo rooftop one of the very few rooftops in the city - but they don’t take resos for Sunday brunch so I just rocked up & sat at the bar! However, they also don’t prioritize hotel guests (weird!) when trying to go at night since the rooftop is open to the public. Gym was pretty fitted as well. Lots of space to sit & gather in the lobby downstairs. 3 elevators which is plenty, and water bottle refill on every floor. Luggage goes under the bed. Use your keycard to get in the double doors after hours. Cons: I did read about some of the thin walls but I can sleep heavy plus bring ear plugs. When I was showering, apparently the room next door was closing their blinds but it was SO LOUD I thought someone was in MY ROOM closing the blinds! I literally jumped out of the shower on guard! That must have been the thin walls everyone was talking about 😅 ice machine is only in the basement & basements creep me out 😅 Condesa restaurant in lobby isn’t open at all on Sundays 😞 The street can sometimes get some characters but it’s downtown, and it's still SO nice being close to Rittenhouse Square.
