🚊Brussels is a good common-sense option as a base to explore the rest of the country: there are reliable trains throughout, and the majority route through Brussels anyway!

If you want to plan a full Belgian trip, give yourself 4-5 days. That's enough for day trips to Antwerp, Bruges, and Ghent and a relaxed pace in Brussels.

💶 Belgium is part of the EU and uses the Euro. Almost everywhere takes card, but keep some cash in case you stop at a food truck.
