ICELAND ON A CAMPER FOR COUPLES

Pickup your happy camper, make sure to record a 360 video of the camper to avoid any surprises at the end of your trip. If they find any dents or other damages they might charge you even more than 1000€ for the repair.

Buy food in Bonus  (this one is a bit cheaper) or Kronan.

After having a camper-made breakfast, head towards the south of the ring road. 

Once you have walk behind Seljalandsfoss, go to your right, and you will find the secret (not so secret waterfall Gljufrabui or Clara's Cave)

Begin your day with a relaxing and hot river bath.

Eating in your camper can be very easy, just prepare easy things like pasta, beans with a salad, or heat some soup. 

Once in the Westman Island you can stay a few hours or a day, we just stay a few hours and did part of the Heimklettur Hike. 

Transport to Happy campers Headquarters (Happy Camper have a shuttle to pickup you up at the airport)

Back on the main Island is time to get some rest in the city of Vik. 

After a long day, head toward your next campsite, Skaftafell

Have some lunch anywhere you like, we found this amazing spot, where we were able to chill and re-charge our energy for the next adventure.

If you don't mind driving 3 hours you can head towards the Arctic Henge, and enjoy an spectacular sunset.

Time to enjoy the city and see as much as you can. Don't forget to see:

- Birkimelur Swimming Pool and Natural Hot tub

Now, depending on where you are located, and if the stars ailing and a volcano erupts, plus the weather conditions are good. Then you will need to drop any plan you had planned, and head to the Volcano. Believe me, it will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and you won't want to miss it.

We were lucky that the two days before our trip, the 2022 volcano erupted. Then, once in Iceland, it was a matter of location, weather, and nature, and just when we were in the Golden Circle, the weather improved, and the government opened the hike towards the Meradalir volcano. 

Now, even though you don't see any active volcanoes, you can still do the hike and see the new land created by the lava; it's a land like no other. Check this site for the latest Volcano info:
