About

The Delta del Ebro is a hidden gem in the Spanish region of Catalonia where you can take a break from the noise of the city and reconnect with the nature.

Here the time passes slowly like the river Ebro that flows into the Mediterranean Sea and the rurality of the landscapes take you back to basics.

Many wonderful bird species including the pink flamingo have chosen this natural park as their home and it's possible to watch them from one of the several observatories placed along the lagoon.

Despite being a less touristic area there are many outdoors activity such as cycling at sunset along the rice fields, kayaking on the river or simply taking a regenerating walk in the morning on it's endless beaches.

Another reason to visit the Delta del Ebro for sure is it's cuisine, rice is the typical product of this area and there are many traditional restaurants that serves excellent paellas besides many fresh fish and venison dishes.

If you are a seafood lover you definitely can't miss a visit by boat to the mussel farm where you ca taste oysters and mussels in an amazing location.

The best way to enjoy your stay is by renting a camper, the area disposes of many equipped campsites which will allow you to immerse even more in the beauty of wild nature.

If you are looking for an authentic and peaceful place off the beaten tracks this is with no doubts your destination.
