Shibuya & Shinjuku

This is the part of Tokyo where I recommend you to start. Both Shibuya and Shinjuku is quite famous with unique fairly modern views, iconic spots you must see during your lifetime, and tons of amazing food.

If you don't want to spend $20+ on Tokyo Tower, Skytree etc., then you can see the city for free from Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. They usually let people go up for the view, but make sure to go there when it's open.
