🌴 Saint Barth, Caribbean
🇧🇱 A week of relaxation in Saint Barth!
If you want to rest and relax this is THE destination. The island being very small (11 miles long and 2,5 miles wide), it is easy and pleasant to get around by car. Every trip should not take more than 10min if you are crossing the island!
🏝 The program: beaches!
The most beautiful in my opinion:
- Flamands
- Gouverneur
- Lorient
To swim with turtles:
- Grand cul-de-sac
The less famous:
- Petit cul-de-sac
To see planes landing and taking off:
- Saint Jean
To see the sunset:
- Corossol
- Shell beach
The others :
- Saline (can be very windy)
- Colombier (beautiful walk from the Flamands beach to get there)
🚗 To get around you have to rent a car at the airport, the driving is quite easy but just a tip: rent a small car because the roads are narrow and you will often have to park along roads!
🍍 Restaurant:
In Gustavia:
- The fish corner, fresh fish, a treat
- The Select for a cheap drink and local atmosphere
- Black ginger, an excellent Thai
Flamands beach:
- Chez Roland for lunch
- La Case of the Cheval Blanc hotel
Grand cul-de-sac beach:
- the Ti Corail, excellent and you can eat on your napkin on the beach, a delight
Saline Beach:
- Le grain de sel, 100% local cuisine
- Caribbean Tasty, very good homemade creole cuisine. Don't miss it!
- L'Esprit, which was highly recommended to us but we did not have time to try it
Saint-Jean beach:
- SO kitchen, you can take away to eat on the beach or at the restaurant. Fresh, healthy and homemade food (they have Vegan)
Corossol:
- Take a pizza to go at La Saintoise and go to Corossol beach for the sunset, it's wonderful!
