Explore the historic streets of San Telmo, browsing the antique shops and soaking in the bohemian atmosphere. Lunch at a traditional bodegón (neighborhood eatery) for a taste of classic porteño cuisine. While you're unlikely to be able to fully enjoy the famous San Telmo Market due to its particular time schedule, there's often a number of smaller exhibitions and shops you may get the opportunity to visit throughout the day.

Enjoy an early dinner (by Buenos Aires standards) and experience a tango show in San Telmo. Enjoy dinner in your chosen location (Tigre or San Isidro) or if you want to return to enjoy the nightlife, get back to Palermo Soho, San Telmo, or wherever you prefer and consider having dinner in town instead.

Day 6: Culture, Coffee, and Late-Night Vibes

Explore the bookstores of Avenida Corrientes, known for its literary culture. While one of the places hardest hit by both a change of cultural interests, which has affected the local business that features mostly very old books from an age where many more used to live in or close to Buenos Aires downtown, the changes in the local and global economy has all but wiped many of its famous establishments away. Inquire locally about when or where the most prominent stores will make their yearly exhibition and feature things for everyone and every budget. Stop at a historic café notable like Café Tortoni for a traditional coffee break, soaking up the history that led to that very place to become the gathering place for artists, musicians, writers, and other intellectuals for close to a century now.

Don't make plans to travel beyond Recoleta or downtown later this afternoon as leaving the city can easily take hours regardless of traffic conditions.
