FREE Things to do in Dublin
Let us face it .. we all love free but we always get caught out with the * it's free IF you buy something. its not free and that drives me mad should be some suing for false advertisement So les get into it. you're in or going to Dublin and let's face it it's not cheap so why not space it out with free things to do or a full day of doing free things ok so i can't say the following will be free food travel or accommodations but activities I'll leave a tidbit at the end of cheap onesStephens Green on the south side of Dublin City Center is a nice big park right in the city and a decent 20-minute walk at a slowish speed but there are places to sit and lots of little things to see here or just grab a chair and watch the world go by I'm not saying this should be a starting place as its too early to sit down and watch the world go by while taking a rest but it's on the top as its one to see
Iveagh Gardens yes its free its just under half the size of Stephens green but still nice and only a short walk few places to sit and a nice little waterfall people do take their photos here
Lets stay with the greens another small park and not to far away is Merrion Square park this is a nice place again and has some cool artwork / statues here and you can on the weekend see some local artists hand their art on the railings around it so dont forget to walk around the outside of the park to support local artists they do some great work and a nice souvener
Ok all outdoors but man ... its pissing rain outside like cmon i paid for this i want indoor tips .... Ok fine fine well just beside Merrion Square is the National Gallery ... which is free and is easily an hour if you love art just walk around to Clare street and you will see the nice fancy building and thats the one now somethimes they have exzibits on and that can cosat money but the entrance to the actual art galery is free and well worth a stop over
