Stay & Explore Mauritius | Guide
When many people think of luxury, they think of the Maldives and French Polynesia as the islands are accompanied by white sandy beaches, palm trees and a wide range of marine life. But! Also in the Indian Ocean is the island of Mauritius. Cheaper, Bigger, but just as luxurious.
Mauritius is mountainous towards the centre, with incredible views of the gorges and green peaks of the island's mountains. Mauritius is just over 2000 square kilometres with a population of around 1.26 million people, with around a direct 12-hour flight time. Mauritius is a great alternative to places such as the Maldives or Thailand.
