The official currency of Antigua and Barbuda is the Eastern Caribbean dollar (XCD). The exchange rate is relatively stable, approximately 2.7 EC$ to 1 US$. However, it's advisable to carry some local currency for smaller establishments and markets.
***If you are using US dollars, THEY MUST NOT HAVE ANY TEARS. The local people are unable to exchange the bills if they have any tear at all.
☀️ Best Time to Visit and Weather
Antigua and Barbuda enjoy a tropical climate, with warm temperatures year-round. The average temperature ranges between 75°F (24°C) and 85°F (29°C). The islands have a wet season from June to November, coinciding with the Atlantic hurricane season, and a dry season from December to May.
