Two weeks is the ideal amount of time to visit all the top spots whether its waterfalls and hot springs in La Fortuna or the cloud forests of Montverde. Enjoy this 2 week itinerary.

Best time to visit

The best time to visit is between Decemeber and April. This is the time where there is the most sunshine. This is the most popular and expensive time to visit also.

The end of April to November is the rainy season with the most rain been in October.

TOP TIP- Puerto Viejo is on the carribean coast so it has a slightly different climate. August to October are generally dry not like other areas of Costa Rica.
