Le Fonti is a small, family-run winery in the heart of Panzano in Chianti that has been in the hands of the Schmitt-Vitali family since 1994, when every vine was replanted, taking great care to select the right type of plants with the correct rootstock. The roots of a great wine are found in the vineyard and Le Fonti strives to keep them in balance by farming sustainably (organic). Thanks to their relatively small size they can follow the production with great care: only the best grapes arrive in the cellar and only the best selections are bottled. They're open for wine-tastings in the cellar from March to October, from Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm, and on Saturday from 11am to 5pm. All other times available upon request. During the winter season the direct sales is open during office hours or by appointment. Guided cellar tours are by appointment only.

Located in the heart of the Chianti region, Il Molino di Grace is an alluring and authentic slice of Chianti Classico soil, grapes, climate, tradition and innovation. The winery of Il Molino di Grace โ€“ the โ€˜windmill of graceโ€™ โ€“ stands upon 20 hectares of vineyards that have been producing traditional Chianti Classico wines for over 350 years, and is also equipped with an historic 19th century windmill and world-class sculptures. Open for visits Monday-Friday via reservation. Morning tours at 11 and afternoon tours at 2:30 or 3:30, depending on availability. Chianti Mixology Farm is a brand-new cocktail bar by Panzano-born-and-bred brothers Niccolรฒ and Matteo Camiciotti. Niccolรฒ is a passionate mixologist who fine-tuned his craft all over Europe. Matteo is a sculptor (see the statue in Panzano's main square's fountain) and a man of the land. What makes their venture stand apart from all the others is that they use 100% Tuscan spirits and sodas, and that they grow most of their own fruit and vegetable on property. They make fabulous cocktails, perfect for both aperitivo and after-dinner drinks, and they have an excellent kitchen in case you feel like nibbling on something or want to stay for dinner.

A great place to enjoy a glass of wine and some Panzanese people watching. One of the largest selections of labels in the area. Ask Gianmaria for ๐Ÿท recommendations, he's a trained sommelier with experience both in Italy and Australia. Also great for lunch or leisurely dinner. Recommended dishes: - eggplant parmesan; - any of their fresh pastas; - club sandwich and burgers (yes!); - homemade "crostata": fruit jam pie. On Fridays they also offer off-the-menu fish dishes.
