Best Hotels in Seoul, South Korea | Free Hotel Guide 🇰🇷🏨
1. Decide on an area!
Before actually looking for Hotels its good to understand, where to Seoul its good to stay! It clearly depends on your preferences and what exactly you're looking for. So here a short introduction to the Areas I structured the following Hotel List in:
Myeongdong
My personal recommendation for first time visitors that want to focus on seeing as many sights as possible in a short time! It's the most central place for most Seoul-Sights like the Palaces, Namsan Tower, Gwangjang Market and many more.
Hongdae
Hongdae, located near and named after Hongik University, is a creative and artistic hub in Seoul. Due to it's location close to some of Seoul's biggest universities, this area is famous for its youthful energy, dynamic street performances, many bars and clubs. It's a hotspot for indie art, fashion, and diverse culinary experiences!
Gangnam
This district became famous through Psy's Gangnam Style and if you understand the meaning of the song, you will see, what this area is all about: Shopping, Luxury and Skyscrapers. It's definitely on the pricier and more modern side.
Itaewon
An area that got influenced by Seoul's foreign population a lot! In between its alleys you'll find great bars, endless foreign restaurants, hip cafes and so on. It offers similar vibes to Hongdae focussing on a youthful atmosphere and partying. That's also one reason why you can find endless hostels here!
Seoul Station
The area around Seoul Station is very convenient for travelers, that plan to go on trips to other cities in Korea. It is also conveniently located close to many sights - similar to Myeongdong.
Others
In the last category you'll find other districts and areas with great Hotels and also special stays like Hanok or Temple Stays.
2. Choose & book a Hotel
