Did you know that you could see beautiful lavender fields in the United States?

If you are looking to visit a lavender field in the United States, Sequim is the perfect spot for you!

Did you know that Sequim, Washington is called the "Lavender Capital of North America?" In fact, there are over a dozen different lavender farms you can visit while in town.

Sequim is not only the perfect spot to see lavender, but it is also a short drive away from Olympic National Park (guide to the park coming soon)!

What You Need to Know about the Lavender Fields in Sequim

The best time to visit the lavender fields of Sequim is during the summer months (end of June through mid-August)! Each year Sequim hosts a Lavender festival--this year it will be held from July 19th-21st. There is still time to book your flight!

To explore the lavender fields, you can either travel by car or by bike! The Sequim lavender website has interactive maps to guide your travel:

While visiting the lavender farms, you can enjoy the beautiful smells, views, and products they sell. Most of the farms are free and you can spend as much time as you want exploring the fields. I definitely recommend grabbing your camera and enjoying the views. One of my favorite things I did while visiting the lavender farms was picking my own lavender bundle!

Here are the lavender farms that let you pick your own lavender bundle:

1. B & B Family Farm: 5883 Old Olympic Highway, Sequim, WA 98382 | https://www.bbfamilyfarm.com/

2. Lavender Connection: 1141 Cays Rd., Sequim, WA 98382 | https://www.lavenderconnection.com/

3. Jardin du Soleil: 3932 Sequim Dungeness Way, Sequim, WA 98382 | https://www.jardindusoleil.com/
