Cang Tin

Make a reservation, show up when it opens or be prepared to wait a little for a table for 2+ (solo diners can usually snag a seat at the counter) but you will not regret it. ✨️My reccomendation✨️ Crispy pork bowl (its addictive, dont say I didnt earn you!) and veggie dumplings, paired with a crisp Rosé 🍾

El Preferido de Palermo

An absolute must when in BA. With the same owner as the famous Don Julio steak house, you know everything is locally sourced and the service top notch. ✨️My reccomendations✨️ The milanesa is one of the best in town, but the blood sausage is to die for. However it's essential to leave room for dessert... the flan con dulce de leche and trust me on this one, the pumpkin in syrup with Lincoln cheese, is unlike anything you've had before.

El Perón Perón
@digitalnomadtravel
Steeped in political history, this restaurant is chock full of memorabilia as it's devoted to former president General Juan Domingo Perón and his wife, Eva. Don't be alarmed when the place breaks out in song when the regimental march sounds and do come hungry, because you will be eating well.... and a lot. ✨My Recommendations✨ Order the house malbec not only because its great and cheap but you will enjoy the vessel it arrives in. ;) If you're not already sick of empanadas they make a mean one (be sure to shake it to disperse all of juice inside before digging in!) The grilled provolone is decadent, the grilled sausage is a sleeper hit and the ossobuco is to die for, and if you still have room, the braised beef cannelloni is fantastic.

Club M Omakase

Sushi & a wine bar = match made in heaven. Chef Fabián Masuda prepares one-of-a-kind creations of sushi rolls, nigiri, ceviches, and (the must-try) tiraditos. The icing on the cake is the excellent selection of wines, especially natural, white & rosés to pair with the sushi, with recommendations from people in the know. ✨My recommendations✨ All of the tiraditos (a Peruvian dish of raw fish, cut in the shape of sashimi, similar to crudo and carpaccio, in a spicy sauce) especially the salmon = melt in your mouth good.

Niño Gordo

Come for the vibes, stay for the food. This place was fun, red lights and a view of the kitchen where a good looking staff sets things on fire make this a fun night out with friends. ✨ My recommendations ✨ Beef tataki, katsu sandwich, bao buns

Casa Dingo
@digitalnomadtravel
With an airy, bright environment, this Australian cafe has 2 floors to choose from and is perfect for meeting up with friends for brunch or getting some weekday work done. ✨My recommendations✨ Try the dirty chai latte and the fritters with halloumi cheese.

Chori
@digitalnomadtravel
Choripán is an Argentinian staple and a must try when visiting Buenos Aires! Choripáns are sandwiches made with grilled sausage chorizo and a crusty, baguette-style bread. Chori puts a modern twist on the sandwich with fun variations in a vibrant yellow setting. ✨My recommendations ✨ You cant go wrong with any of their classic options, but if you are feeling adventurous, try the pork sausage with kimchi, or the wild boar with pickled vegetables. The wine pours are generous and the outdoor patio is perfect for people watching.

Hi, I'm Khara 👋 I live to explore and taste my way through different cultures and cities, while working remotely and enjoying the perks of digital nomad life. When I am not out in the world, I call Los Angeles homebase and I love exploring California with my pup Roman. You're probably thinking... why should I trust her and how do I know she even has good taste!? Great questions! Here's the thing - I've already done the research, spent the time (and $$) doing the trial and error, trying the not-so-great places and eating some things that may have even gotten me sick! 🙃😣 All so YOU don't have to. 😃😜 So if you don't feel like reading countless blogs, combing through yelp reviews and pulling your hair out trying to narrow down lists on Trip Advisor, then take my advice - promise I won't steer you wrong.🍴✈️ 🌎
