First things first - this is designed to be a full day walking tour starting earlyin the morning. The reason for this two-fold: many of the sites have closing times in the late afternoon/evening and you don't want to arrive at the doorsteps of one of the palaces only to realize they are closed and there are a lot of stops on this tour (you may even want to break it up into two days).
