Flora e Fauna is a place known for its hearty brunches and varied menu. Among the most popular dishes are the pancakes, served in generous portions with fresh fruit, maple syrup or other combinations, and the toasts with avocado, eggs or salmon, always well prepared. For those who love bagels, there are both sweet and savory options that are worth trying! The bowls are a great option, with fresh ingredients and balanced combinations of both sweet and savory. Also worth trying are the fresh juices and smoothies, ideal to accompany a light meal. The space is large with tables inside and outside, and it is a great location for studying and working. The service is efficient and the prices are in line with the quality offered. We have been in Chiado, but there are more locations in the center of Lisbon. The restaurant is a mix of modern and welcoming style, with an atmosphere that recalls the concept of nature and well-being, in line with its name.

🇮🇹

Dear breakfast

Dear Breakfast
@maryb
Dear Breakfast has 4 branches: Chiado, Alfama, Bica and Santos. We went to Chiado, the most central location. The place is on two floors and to reach the second floor there is a small spiral staircase. The design of the café is elegant but informal, with light-colored walls. Upstairs there are a couple of tables near the windows that overlook a typical Lisbon street from which you can admire the tram 28 passing every 10 minutes or so. The menu is large and varied, with dishes ranging from classic scrambled eggs with avocado to more original preparations such as pancakes with berries and maple syrup. There are also options for those who prefer a light or vegan breakfast, such as fresh fruit bowls and smoothie bowls. Among the most popular dishes are the rich and tasty French toast and the savory toasts with fresh and high-quality ingredients, such as smoked salmon or hummus. The quality of the drinks is high: the coffee is carefully prepared and the options like the matcha latte or golden milk are perfect for those looking for something different. The fresh juices, like the freshly squeezed orange juice, are also a popular choice. Although Dear Breakfast is not the cheapest place in town, the dishes are prepared with fresh and quality ingredients, and the variety of the menu justifies the cost. On average, the price for a full brunch is around 15-20 euros. It can get crowded on weekends, so you may need to be patient. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the overall experience very pleasant.
