🇮🇹 Day Trip Guide to Prosecco Road, Italy

🇮🇹 Day Trip Guide to Prosecco Road, Italy

Visiting Prosecco Road, where all prosecco is made, is so much fun! It's easily reachable from Venice, Verona, Aviano AB, and more. This guide focuses on smaller producers, with one bigger thrown in for comparison, and has everything you need to put together the perfect day out in Prosecco Road! In this guide, you'll get: - an overview of the area - transportation tips - 4 of my favorite vineyards - 3 lunch options - whether you need to pre book at each vineyard

It's a truly stunning part of the country, and only an hour's drive from Venice. So it's an easy day trip for a beautiful and delicious way to experience northern Italy.

Prosecco Road

Prosecco Road is the stretch of hills between the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. In Italian, they also refer to it as colline del Prosecco or the Prosecco Hills.

If you go for only one day, you’ll really only visit 3, plus lunch. Don’t get me wrong, you could squeeze in more if you wanted! But Italian wine tastings are slow and relaxed, intended to soak up the views as much as the wine.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Amateur Italian, travel advisor, and adventurous eater! I’m a travel creative living in small town northern Italy, and I've been planning travel for over 15 years. I've lived on three continents and visited over 40 countries, so I'm passionate about helping travelers experience the best of a location, no matter where! I love both/and travel: I want to see the big sights AND the local hangouts, the big cities AND the small towns. I’d love to help you do it too! If you’re going to Rome for the first time, you don’t need me to tell you to see the Colosseum. But you might want me to tell you if it’s better as a guided tour or on your own, what add-on’s are worth the money, and what are the extra secret things your ticket can get you! My favorite part of travel is eating well: finding the local haunts, tasting a new wine, and trying the local dishes. Amazing food doesn't have to be expensive: sometimes the best of a place is in the street food! But if it is a splurge, I'll make sure it's worth every penny. I'd love to work with you to create the trip of your dreams!
