Local’s Guide to Tapas in Boston

Some of my favorite restaurants in the Boston area for tapas and small plates of all cuisines. Best places for groups that are into sharing or want to taste or try everything on the menu! As I try new places you may see some new additions!

In Boston's South end this is a great spot for spanish tapas! One of my top favorite places for paella. Paella Valenciana is highly recommended! Cozy and intimate setting, back patio outdoor seating for when the weather is nice and warm. Drinks were delicious!

New American

Woods Hill Pier 4
@allisonalbanese
Another one of my favorite places! Located right on the water/pier of Boston's seaport, Woods Hill is the perfect cuisine for anyone. I came here for my birthday this past year and had a great experience. We split the steak tartare, made to order burrata and smoked ham hock coquettes to start. After that we finished with the pork tenderloin, dry aged duck breast and hanger steak. I still dream about these dishes!

Yvonne's
@allisonalbanese
Slightly hidden in the neighborhood of Downtown Crossing with the atmosphere of a speakeasy at a larger scale. There is even a secret dining room hidden within the bookshelves! This is a really great place if you are looking to have drinks and light bites. While you can sit down for a full dinner, it is best to grab a bunch of small plates with friends & family. Everything on the menu is 10/10!

The Longfellow Bar
@allisonalbanese
Just outside of downtown Boston, this little spot located in Harvard Sq. in Cambridge is a great spot to dine with a few friends. They were very helpful when it came to a friends gluten allergy and let us know what she could or could not have that we all ordered to share.

Located in the Seaport district, this mediterranean spot has a great menu for sharing from the Spanikopita, pita and dips, to the zucchini crisps. Also a wonderful spot to go for brunch, lunch and dinner.

Recently Boston Magazines "Best Mediterranean Restaurant 2023" this spot never fails! Located in downtown Boston just before the bridge crossing into the Seaport District this is one of my go to spots if I want to grab a bite with friends or co-workers. Another very accommodating place for allergies.
