[Day Trip] Kawagoe's Sweet Secrets: A Timeless Journey through Edo Past and a 'Yam-tastic' Present

I recommend bringing a few things with you on this day trip:

There are a few ways to get to Kawagoe, this is currently mapping from Shibuya > Kawagoe. 

I highly recommend using google maps and mapping it out, but when you get to Tokorozawa Station. You will have to ask for directions, and there is a special booth that you need to go and purchase tickets to get to Kawagoe. There are a couple options, one is a day pass and one is a one day trip ticket. (Options may change)

Fun Fact Kawagoe is known for their sweet potatoes, so you will notice a theme when you get here.

1. Take a bus and get to a destination (multiple bus options and routes)

Go with whichever you want to do, but walking is a pleasure since you can go to store to store, eat at all the restaurants that look good to you. There is a nice bridge you can visit that has cherry blossoms (in season) close to a shrine.
