I’ve taken the list of 400+ Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris down to six. They’re all classic menus in central Paris, easy to access by Metro or walking. Each offers traditional homestyle recipes - some in homey settings, others in more modern spaces - all with fantastic food!
They also won't break the bank. While some are a bit more than your average bistro, I've included options to get you a multi-course meal for as cheap as 19€!

One of the biggest differences between Michelin starred restaurants in the US vs Europe is that Michelin doesn't have to mean insanely expensive!
The Michelin star model began to help travelers find great food on the road. That means that you can still find Michelin-starred restaurants in small towns, and they're often the same price as their neighboring restaurants.
That being said, Michelin restaurants in Paris have a pretty high standard to live up to, so they're generally a bit more than your average brasserie dinner.
That doesn't mean they need to be avant-garde or super modern cuisine. These are all restaurants that serve traditional French food - maybe plated a little fancier, but the same dishes that the French have celebrated for generations.
