Getting to Tartu đ
Upon your arrival at Tallinna Lennujaam (Tallinn Airport), transportation options await â either driving a car or taking the bus.
For those opting for the bus, head to the lobby and take a right, and continue your journey until you spot the doors, walk a bit more, descend the stairs, and discover the bus stop
.Tickets for the bus can be conveniently purchased from the automatic machines on-site. However, keep in mind that the bus service to Tartu is in high demand, so it's advisable to secure your ticket online (I leave the link below) or upon arrival at the machine, but be prepared for some wait times until the first available service!
Rest assured, the buses are known for their punctuality and utmost comfort, ensuring a smooth arrival at the Tartu Coach Station (Tartu Bussijaam), the bus station in Tartu.

Joining us from Latvia is the esteemed City Jazz Riga jazz school big band, led by saxophonist and composer Karlis Vanags, along with Latvian Radio Big Band trombonist KarÄźis Alfreds Feldbergs. We're honored to have the talented singers Jete Rebeka Strazdina and Marks Vilenskis as special guests.
From Estonia, we're delighted to introduce Uku Konsap Big Band, led by the young saxophonist Uku Konsap, who assembled a group of exceptional young jazz musicians from Southern Estonia. Also gracing our stage are Eller Big Band, Piirilinna Big Band from Valga led by Gunars GeduĹĄevs, Tartu Sax Choir, and Big Band Tartu, collaborating with our guest from Norway.
In Tallinn, the concert will take place at the cultural center Kaja, while in Tartu, join us at the Estonian National Museum for concerts on March 2nd and 3rd, 2024. Let's celebrate the joy of jazz together!

Butter Week Sunday holds a special place in the hearts of villagers, marked by communal singing, lively horseback rides, and indulging in stacks of pancakes.
