LIBRI NECESSARI - MONTI
Located in the heart of the Monti neighborhood, Libri Necessari is one of my favorite secondhand bookstores. There are a variety of books couple different languages, prints by artists, and vintage postcards. Prices are very reasonable and there is a discount for the students.
LIBRERIA Degli STUDENTI - PIAZZA BOLOGNA
In a student area, near Piazza Bologna, Libreria degli Studenti just as its name, is perfect for students who are looking for books. The variety of books in this bookstore is very wide as well. You can find many books in different languages and on different topics. The prices are very cheap.
OPEN DOOR BOOKSHOP - TRASTEVERE
My personal favorite bookstore in Rome is Open Door Bookshop. You can find it in Trastevere, it's a great place to find English books. There are also German, French, and of course Italian books.
MERCATINO DEL LIBRO - PIAZZA BORGHESE
Located in a cute little piazza, in a great location, this small open-air mercatino (small market in Italian) is a perfect spot specifically to find vintage unique prints. They have a random collection of secondhand books. If you want to grab something different from Rome, to hang in your room, that is the place!
