It's definitely worth visiting! It costs ~$12 to enter. It's full of stories, lots of history, and makes you go on your toes!

Downtown Cañon City

The downtown area is easily walkable. It's full of restaurants, antique stores,  thrift stores, and marked with dinosaur statues!

The Royal Gorge Bridge

This is considered the highest suspension bridge in America! The views do not disappoint. We walked across the bridge, which makes your heart beat increase rapidly. We did the zip lining and sky coaster; both were fun. I would recommend the zip lining over the sky coaster. At the park, we even saw big horn sheep.

Skyline Drive

The skyline drive was a narrow road and was full of fun. You may even see dinosaur tracks.

Royal Gorge Route Railroad

This railroad ride is definitely worth the views. I do not recommend paying for the more expensive tickets because instead of staying in our seats, we stood outside the whole ride! You can get a mediocre meal inside, but what's worthwhile is standing on the outside portion of the train and absorbing the scenery.

This is my first train ride, and it was quite the view!

That marks the end of my adventures in Cañon City!

Another beautiful thing about this area is that it is full of free roaming deers, as your neighbors. Well that's all folks. See you later and be kind!
