Sala Ayutthaya Hotel is a boutique hotel in Ayutthaya, Thailand, offering a serene riverside escape. With beautifully appointed rooms, and delicious Thai and international cuisine, the hotel provides a delightful experience. Its prime location near historic sites and dedicated staff ensure a memorable stay immersed in Thai culture and hospitality.
The red brick interior of the hotel is inspired by the ancient city itself.There are many local restaurants near the hotel as well but i do recommend trying the in hotel dining experience, we went during the rainy season so that was a more convenient option. You can also take bicycles to explore the city and the ruins of Ayutthaya.
2. Mandarin Oriental , Bangkok Thailand
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ( 5 star hotel )
The Mandarin Oriental Bangkok is a luxurious five-star hotel along the Chao Phraya River, known for its opulence and impeccable service. The staff is welcoming and attentive, the rooms are elegant with great views, and the dining options are excellent. However, it comes with a high price tag, making it a top-tier choice for those seeking luxury. If you're looking for an indulgent experience and have a generous budget, this hotel won't disappoint. The hotel however does look a bit old from the outside but from the inside it is very beautifully renovated.
The Hotel does have other amenities as well and amazing dining options such as the hotel spa with in-hotel dining options, Tea room and a jazz bar. Breakfast is by the banks of Chaophraya river , the hotel has it’s own restaurant called “The Verandah” , i do recommend you to try the PadThai there , and also a tea room and “The Bamboo Bar” with Live Jazz band every evening.
3. The Westin, Desaru Coast Malaysia
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ( 5 star hotel )
Super friendly and nice hotel staff and the resort's design was modern and cool. The beachfront location was a dream and not yet commercialized so it felt like a private beach of the hotel itself. The beachfront also has a cafe with snacks and drinks. The hotel also has conference rooms for meetings and other amenities.
The infinity pool had a beautiful views and the breakfast was filled with variety of , and I loved the variety of food for breakfast. It's a perfect spot for families too, to spend quality time , however it is a bit secluded being surrounded only by other hotels.
I was very happy with the reasonably priced laundry and dry cleaning service here.
4. FCC Angkor Avani , Siem Riep Cambodia

FCC Angkor Avani is located in the heart of Siem Reap, Cambodia. The hotel used to be the residence of the French governor.
The hotel offers a captivating blend of colonial charm and modern luxury. It is located not too far from the Angkor Wat temple complex, the hotel is more cozy than luxurious but the rooms are very modern and clean with a balcony and swimming pool.
Dining here is a delight, with a variety of delectable Khmer and international dishes served in a stylish ambiance, especially for people that struggle to try new cuisines.
5. Cormar Suites ,Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

Cormar Suites in Kuala Lumpur offers a delightful urban escape for travelers visiting this vibrant city. Located in a prime area and walking distance from the Twin Towers and walking distance to many restaurants and a 7-11 right opposite to the hotel.
The staff at Cormar Suites are attentive and kind, catering to guests' needs with efficiency and warmth. Their hospitality adds a personal touch connecting with customers through Whatsapp.
The hotel also has a rooftop swimming pool with a view of KL skyline.
6. Raddison Blu , Mumbai , India

The Radisson Blu Hotel in Mumbai offers modern comfort , it is very close to the hotel so perfect for people that have a very late or early morning flight. Stylish rooms and attentive staff ensure a memorable stay. Diverse dining options and wellness facilities add to the experience. Perfect for both business and leisure travelers to explore Mumbai's attractions and vibrant culture.
The hotel’s breakfast has a variety of options especially for freshly made Indian food and the location is also easily accessible.
7. Holiday Inn , Pattaya
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 Star hotel
Holiday Inn is located in the north of Pattaya , the beach is right in front of the hotel so most rooms have the view of the ocean. However you need to cross the road to go to the beach. It is located at a walkable distance from Terminal 21 mall and a 7-11 inside the hotel.
The hotel also has many activities such as the infinity pool , we even attended the morning yoga in the wellness center overlooking the ocean and the morning breeze.
The hotel is divided into 2 buildings, so when booking it is good to check which building you are in , we booked at the same time but did not check that our bookings were in different buildings .
8. The Phu Beach Hotel , Ao Nang Krabi
⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 Star Hotel
This hotel is located a bit far from the beach, however the hotel does provide shuttle services to the market and the beach for all guests and most activities and experiences such as scuba diving or island hopping do provide pickup from hotel so traveling was not a big issue. The convenience store is also walking distance from the hotel.
The hotel is locally owned by a person in Krabi and is 2 floored. The thing that I found surprising was that every room has pool access , even the ones on the second floor had stairs to walk down to the pool. It is a fun place to stay with family, the room is also very spacious.
