Cherry Blossoms in Seoul

When
Mid March to April
Cherry Blossoms tend to be in full bloom from around the latter half of March to the first 2 weeks of April. Each year around the start of February they usually predict the exact dates.
Keep an eye out on more accurate dates with a quick google search in March in order to plan your itinerary.
Cherry Blossoms are infamous for being there one day and gone the next. These delicate and dainty flowers are blown away by wind and rain, so I highly recommend knowing the expected blooming dates before booking a trip if your intention is specifically to see the blossoms.
Where
Seokchon Lake
@samaranaidu
Seokchon Lake is loved by locals as much as travellers. It is always busy with everyone getting there steps in after a long day in the office or walking their pets.
Seokchon Lake is always well lit with many cafes, Lotte World Theme Park, Lotte Tower, and Lotte Shopping Mall- making it the all in one perfect spot.
It is also perfectly safe, no matter how early or late.

Seoul Forest Park
@samaranaidu
Seoul Forest is one of my favourite places in the world.
If you're looking to lose yourself in an oasis of Cherry Blossoms, this is the perfect location to do so.
The ideal picnic spot, also situated within walking distance of Han River, this a favourite spot for locals year round.

Hi, I'm Samara. I have lived in Seoul, South Korea for almost 6 years now. With a genuine passion for travel deeply woven into the fabric of my personal and professional life, my love for exploring new cultures has been a driving force throughout my career as a Kindergarten Teacher.
My extensive travels across Europe, East Asia, and the United States, coupled with my innate curiosity, have not only enriched my own experiences but have also equipped me with a unique set of cross-cultural communication skills. I am excited to fuse my love for travel and turn it into a career.
I have curated a journal of everything travel and beauty in South Korea, from Seoul, Busan, to Jeju and beyond. I have travelled extensively throughout Europe, East Asia, and the United States, planning and booking each trip independently. As a solo traveler, I have cultivated a unique perspective on the intricacies of travel, from understanding diverse cultures to navigating various logistical challenges.
As a solo expat moving to a new country it can be a scary and lonely start. The benefits though are finding cute cafés, bars, restaurants and more on my solo exploring of my new home base.
You may rest assured that my recommendations are not only safe but tried and tested by me personally. So whether you're on a solo mission, with your family or friends, you can focus on enjoying your time exploring your destination.
Because your safety and ease of mind is priceless.
