In June of 2022, we found ourselves in Las Vegas unexpectedly after giving up our seats on an over booked flight during a layover from Denver. The next flight out home to Tampa wasn’t for 24 hours. We decided to make the best of it and explored Las Vegas for 24 hours! I grew up traveling with my family in the 80s and 90s. We often found ourselves “getting bumped” off flights for vouchers, so we could fund our next trip! Needless to say I’m skilled at travel hacking and spontaneous itineraries!
