Things to know before you visit Colombo

Transport: 

The most common modes of transportation in Colombo are the tuk-tuk and bus. For convenience, you can also hail taxis or tuk-tuks through apps like PickMe and Uber. Keep cash for fares, especially if not using these apps.

Attire:

Colombo is usually humid, therefore, opt for breathable and comfortable clothing. If you're planning to visit sacred/religious sites, please dress modestly.
